OkCupid kicks out white supremacist: ‘There is no place for hate’


A white supremacist who served organise the “Unite the Appropriate” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and just lately vlogged about his fears of an arrest warrant, has been banned for everyday living from an on line dating provider on which he held a profile.

Chris Cantwell was reccently showcased in a Vice Information documentary, ranting that he would “f***ing destroy” anti-fascist counter demonstrators and, after being pepper sprayed, declares:

… we are not non-violent. We’ll f***ing destroy these persons if we have to.

He also confirmed off handguns he had brought to the town, and claimed that “white males are the de facto rulers of the Earth”.

In a recent video clip resolved to the police, he reported:

I am armed, I do not want violence with you, alright, I’m terrified, I am frightened you’re likely to destroy me, I genuinely am.

So lets just do this nonetheless we need to do it. If I’ve bought to go to jail today, it is not going to be the f***ing very first time.

It has since emerged that he held a profile on the relationship internet site OkCupid.

OkCupid responded to this news reasonably swiftly with some distancing PR.

OkCupid also advised Gizmodo in a statement:

OkCupid has zero tolerance for racism.

Banning Christopher Cantwell was not a single of them.
